About Us
Welcome to Tasmanian Gin Kit
“Tassie is an oasis for gin botanicals. Imagine sharing with others how to make delicious Tasmanian gin from home”
Founded by a local Tasmanian family based in beautiful Hobart, the original vision was to share the unique flavours of Tasmania's award-winning gin industry. These gins are bursting with amazing aromas and flavours, thanks to the skillful use of native botanicals by commercial distillers. These distillers draw inspiration from the pristine landscapes and local herbs and flowers to create their secret recipes, perfectly complementing the juniper flavour in gin.
Like most Tasmanians, the founders are quietly proud and passionate bunch. Their love for gin and all things Tasmania was at the heart of our story. It all began with an enthusiastic response to our home-crafted blends, which led to the creation of the only Tasmanian-inspired DIY gin kits.
The Tasmanian Gin Kit is distinctive to its core, meticulously crafted to match the same care and love for Tasmania as the local distillers. The original founder spent months obsessively creating and testing botanicals to ensure the best Tasmanian homemade gin experience.
Under new ownership, we carry forward this passion with a renewed dedication to bringing the Tasmanian gin experience to enthusiasts everywhere. Our new owner, a gin aficionado, continues to honour the original founder’s vision while infusing their own love and expertise for this timeless spirit.
The Tasmanian Gin Kit remains the perfect gift for gin lovers. Impress your friends and family by making your very own Tasmanian gin in just four easy steps. Join us in celebrating the spirit of Tasmania and the wonderful and versatile spirit that is gin, one delightful sip at a time.
